The ASBMB Women in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Committee proudly presents their annual women’s networking dinner — a unique event that brings together scientific professionals for an evening of discussions, shared experiences and valuable connections.
The event will highlight the ASBMB Emerging Leadership Award recipient, Nicole Woitowich, who will present a keynote lecture on the critical need for integrating sex and gender considerations into biomedical research and address gender disparities within the scientific workforce. The presentation will include key findings on the adoption of the NIH's Sex as a Biological Variable policy and its implementation challenges. The lecture will also highlight strategies to enhance research rigor, reproducibility and equity in science.
Due to the interactive nature of the event and our commitment to providing a conducive environment for mentoring and networking, advance registration is required. Space is limited, so we encourage you to register early to secure your spot.
