Leading with purpose: Reflections by successful leaders in BMB

To be effective in your career, it is important to develop and understand your leadership and mentoring skills and style. The ASBMB's Women in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (WiBMB) Committee hosted a WiBMB leadership panel featuring the 2023 ASBMB Leadership Award winners.

The panel shares their individual experiences with leadership and mentoring, with an emphasis on mentoring women in science, their advice for scientific career success and ways that they support the advancement of women in STEM. The ASBMB Leadership Awards recognize individuals with a strong commitment to advancing the careers of women in biochemistry and molecular biology along with demonstrated excellence in research and/or service.
