Cancer biology
This interest group focuses on the cellular and molecular mechanisms that contribute to cancer development and progression. This includes research on genetic mutations and oncogenes, dysregulation of cell signaling and metabolic pathways, the role of the immune system in cancer progression and more. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of cancer is key to the identification of therapeutic targets and diagnostic tools.
