Chandrima and Chris speak with Nisha Cavanaugh, who is associate director of career development at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, where she develops programs for biomedical graduate students and postdocs.

This month, Chris and Chandrima chat with Shy Brown, a biochemist with expertise in exercise science, sports physiology, bioinformatics, immunology and cancer biology. She is founder and executive director of Building Bridges Inc., an organization dedicated to exposing young Black girls to STEM education and STEM professionals.
