Call for proposals
Proposal deadline: Sept. 17
ASBMB encourages members of the society to organize and lead workshops at the 2025 ASBMB Annual Meeting in Chicago. The goal is to create an interactive 60- to 90-minute event emphasizing active learning so participants come away with tangible skills that can be used immediately or in the future.
Workshop proposals should fall into one of the following categories:
- Scientific skills or techniques, e.g.:
- Cancer Dependency Map (DepMap)
- cBioPortal large-scale cancer genomics data sets
- CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing technology
- Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis (GEPIA)
- Education and professional development, e.g.:
- Career development
- Diversity, equity, access and inclusion
- Educational tools, programs or resources
Proposals will be evaluated based on their strength, relevance and needs of the meeting, and capacity.
Organizers must be regular, industry, or early-career members of the ASBMB. See all proposal criteria
